sadly my season ends today, nov. 23
The good news is only 120 days till it starts all over again. Thats if we get out at the same time we did this year. Patti has my christmas wish list, and I've already ordered most of my presents!!!! See you all on the water next year.

Still Fishing
HeyMark and a sharp crew got out last night on Hubbard. The 'eyes were biting. We put 6 in the box in a relatively short period of time. We had two other boats out enjoying the evening. The docks are out, but thanks to creative launching and loading by the captain of HeyMark everything went smooth. The 'eyes were healthy and nice size. With a little bit of luck, I'm betting last night's outing will not be the last time for the season.

October 31, 2010 Walleye
I fished for what might be the last time this season sunday. I went out of harrisville and cruised up to black river before daylight.I got set up and trolled back to harrisville catching 5 lake trout, monsters as local lake trout go. all 10 to 15 lbs. they had to go back as season is closed. I also caught 1 nice 4 lb. walleye.PBR also fished the am.Needless to say the launch was about as busy as this blog the last few months lol. All and all I had a good time at the tournaments this year. Thanks to everyone who makes them work so well.

Congrats! Thunder Bay Win!!!
Congrats to Wiggy, Sharp and Capn Ed on a well deserved victory on Thunder Bay this last weekend. You guys have been putting in lots of work on the bay and fished many events with the club. It's nice to see that the walleye gods took notice and rewarded you.
Enjoy the win and the cash. It was good to see you all smiling - you certainly derserved it.

Daiwa SG27LC Reels for Sale
I have 6 Daiwa SG27LC reels for sale. They are the ones I have been using for 6+ years and all are in good, but used condition. By that I mean they have quite a few scratches and nicks, but it is all cosmetic as they are fully funtional. All linecounters work - 2 of the reels have the double paddle and the other 4 have the single crank.
Price is $60 each.
If interested, call me -

Harrisville
Got out yesterday at Harrisville. We got one nice 5-6 lb. laker and released it. We picked it up around 9:30am in front of the breakwall. We did try north and south of the harbor, but with no luck. Didn't mark any fish. I think we are still a week or two away from the fish moving in. The surface temps were around 39 degrees.

TB Report
Our first time out was yesterday and we fished out in front of the river and over by LaFarge. We caught one nice brown out in front of the river. We picked up one walleye and 4 browns (all 12-16 inches) over by LaFarge. We released the small browns. The surface temps were around 37 degrees out in front of the river and 40-41 degrees in front of LaFarge. We used medium size cranks the entire time and ran between 1.3 to 1.8 mph.

I feel the heat in the sun!!!
I'm charging batteries and getting poles ready. I'ts getting close and I want to be good to go when the time comes. Some are fishing in the saginaw river already. To me, it appears the ice is going to go out early, maybe we'll get some march fishing in. sure hope so.

hello, is anybody out there?
I don't ice fish so I don't have much to say, but someone must. I'm looking forward to open water, starting to get cabin fever. How about some fishing reports from someone. It would give me something to read.
