great tournament season

Thanks to Denny and Jackie and everyone else who handles the details I had a lot of fun this season. I managed to make every tournament and I'm sure all the winners were glad I contributed to the pot every time. I wouldn't do it if it were not for the fun and great bunch of guys that compete. When everyone enjoys the day we all win. Yes I know, Carlson again, lol. He fishes hard before every tournament and he fishes with the best partners he can find. He is good at this and earns what he gets. I noticed he never asks me to fish with him, lol,  I can't imagine why!!! Don and al gave him a scare this year, good job guys. you got to beat the best to be the best. Thanks to all that made it fun for everyone. See you next year.

GETTING READY FOR AN EARLY SPRING !

I'm thinking this weekend, march 11,2012. That would be a great start to the season. If I do get out I'll try to report how we do and where we fish.

Last outing of the season, nov 25

The heymark made its last trip of the season on nov 25, I was able to borrow a member of team PBR, and launch out of hubbard lake south end. No docks but determination by the crew got it done. As for fish not so good. 5 hours of fishing yielded no walleye. On the 12th we were able to catch 3. See ya next year.

looking for thunder bay fall fishing reports

I've been spending some time on hubbard because of the weather but I'd like to get back out on huron. I tried harrisville and came up with 2 walleye and a catfish. I was wondering if anybody has found any walleye on the bay.

Harrisville Pre-Fishing

Team PBR has been out of Harrisville getting ready for the tournament coming up this weekend. We've been out three or four times in the past week and half. We've pulled nice size fish around the Sturgeon Point area (2-7lbers, 1-6 lbs., and a couple in the 3 to 4 lb. range). Out in front of the harbor is usually a good area and we hope to fish that area tomorrow or Saturday. Reports of some walleye being caught 3-5 miles south of the harbor have been reported. Don't rule out the Black River area. We've used shallow running cranks for the most part.

Harrisville Harbor is open and a dock is in. We've been out 3 times in the last 2 weeks and picked up a nice laker and 2 'eyes all near the harbor in 8-14 feet of water. The surface temps are around 39 degrees.

are the walleye in the river?

I know a few of you fish the dam, I just wondered if any walleye had been seen up there yet.
